Greg Benton

Machine Learning - AI - Technology

I am Greg Benton, a dedicated machine learning researcher and engineer, holding a PhD from New York University under the mentorship of Andrew Gordon Wilson. At present, I am employed at Celonis, where I am spearheading our initiatives to adapt language models for process mining.

My research portfolio encompasses a wide array of topics in machine learning, with a particular emphasis on managing uncertainty in the outputs of both generative and discriminative models. This includes exploring the spectrum of covariance functions in Gaussian process models and creating distributions over symmetries in deep learning. I am passionate about applying these concepts to real world problems, and have contributed to numerous projects in the realms of natural language processing, computer vision, and process mining.

Beyond my professional commitments, I lead an active lifestyle, which involves early morning gym sessions, surfing, and backcountry skiing with my dog.
